  1. Hey guys, to make it clear.
Ray tracing is a rendering technique for generating an image by tracing the path of light as pixels in an image plane and simulating the effects of its encounters with virtual objects!!

It also is just a ALPHA version! you can achieve great visuals with it in old and new games!

  2. I just get goosebumps watching this in 4k and being excited about what next-gen will look like in 4k and ray tracing.

  3. This seems like it isn't global illumination. It looks more like ambient occlusion which is a bit different. That's probably why there isn't much of a difference

  4. The difference is indeed subtle as expected in majority of games with decent enough lighting systems, however people who claim there no difference are either braindead or colourblind as the ray tracing reshade actually makes light behave realistically when bouncing off surfaces which creates colour shades, this subtle difference can have massive impact in how the brain interprets a scene as it becomes more true to life, lighting has been historically the most difficult thing to get right and even with all the advances in game engines we still cannot get it 100% right, ray tracing however can with extremely simple methods but computational expensive to do so regardless, I rather have pretty singleplayer games with 60fps and reserve the 100fps for competitive games.

  5. devs became so good at faking the lightning that I don't see a need for RT GI, because the difference will be mostly in performance.

  6. when i was playing the witcher 3 for the first time, my brother came in and said "Are you watching movie?" that explain how good the witcher 3 graphic was

  7. wow the witcher 3 already look good only thing I seen was brighter colors lil more detail CD project red are one of the top great video 👍

  8. If they inject ray tracing I might give it a try. Witcher 3 is one of the many games I bought and didn't get into.

  9. Damn, making me want to play Witcher 3 all over again. Oh well, here I go, time to reinstall it for the 6352725th time.

I really should just leave it on my SSD permanently because this is getting ridiculous.

  10. It would be hard for me to spot any difference at all if I hadnt had this close side by side comparison. Even though the difference looks negligable. Not worth to upgarde yet imo.
